I was drawn to it because of its beautiful colors, but I haven’t found the fanny pack to be as functional as I’d like, mainly because the straps that go around the waist are difficult to adjust and keep tight. Part of my reaction may be because of the fact that I haven’t used fanny packs in the past and I’m not very familiar with wearing them around on hikes or whatever."

"I love these fanny packs. This is at least my fifth or sixth Bataan 3L Del Dia and that’s not due to quality it’s due to me just loving the different colors. These are highly durable, beautiful high quality fanny packs that last years if you’re willing to take care of them and hand wash them from time to time. I buy Cotopaxi because I absolutely love the colors and even more so I love what Cotopaxi stands for and does for the local people working on these packs and the use of materials that otherwise might end up in a landfill. Amazing gear and amazing company that actually stands for something which is becoming more rare by the day. Thank you to all the people that make Cotopaxi happen and continue to run on a daily basis. "I love my new Cotopaxi fanny pack. It’s perfect for travel. I can pack it in my suitcase and then, when I arrive, put my purse away and use the fanny pack. My one hesitation relates to using it as a cross shoulder pack. It tips over when reaching in to get something. This means I have to take it off to avoid spilling the contents."

Q&A

Frustratingly the length of the strap is not listed in the specifications with the other measurements. The features just say that it is "adjustable". This is important information that allows folks to tell if this product will fit them before they purchase. What is the maximum circumference of this bag? And please consider including that measurement in your item descriptions in the future.: Huntley, Sorry about that! There is some info missing from our product display pages, since we just updated the site. We are working to fix that! The minimum length of the belt is 21", and maximum length is 52".
Could you use it as a frisbeegolf carrier for your frisbees?: I believe this fanny pack is much too small to carry frisbees. I would recommend a Batac or even a Gear Hauler for all your frisbee golf gear! :)
What are the cleaning instructions?: A good soak and swirl in the sink with some mild eco-friendly detergent usually gets the job done right. For tough stains they can be hit with a soft bristle toothbrush to work the soap into the stains. Line dry is best after a good rinse.
Looking to buy one of these in a color of my choice, but when selecting "I'll choose", the available colors are all predominantly red. I'm assuming it's operator error but why can't I see anything besides a red color scheme?: Since these are made from remnant material, they often come in "waves" of colors. If you are not a fan just give it some time for a new batch to cycle in :)
